Honda gx620 fuel pump problems

Not sure what to think- here is what I got: Honda gx620. electric fuel pump in line and tested to be working. fuel is filling filter (which is up near carb). I took carb off to clean and was some fuel in bowl area. all of the carb ports/jets clean and no dirt at all that I can see. did good cleaning even though looked like new inside. Mid range it has a strong vibration especially decelerating, but has no knocking at any point.
